FULL STACK ENGINEER (M/F/D) HAMBURG OR LÜBECK – FULL TIME

We currently control some 700 chartered and owned vessels of 40 mio tdw, and we carry around 380 mio tons of raw materials and semi-finished products across the seven seas each year. We are looking for a new colleague to join the Application Development Team to fill the position of a Full Stack Engineer (m/f/d) in our Lübeck or Hamburg office. If you are interested in developing tailor-made web applications for our internal colleagues using a modern state-of-the-art technology stack you might be a great fit for our team.
You will be part of a fast-paced team of open-minded professionals, developing, and delivering diverse software and applications across various business areas within Oldendorff.
Job responsibilities

Develop modern, robust and scalable end-to-end web applications, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, responsiveness and reliability.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance and innovate the development process.
Participate in the entire agile software development lifecycle, from the specification to the delivery on production systems.
Be in direct contact with other teams such as our IT Operations Team, the Data Engineering Team, or our Product Management Teams to align with their requirements.

What you bring along:

Good knowledge of Typescript, NodeJs, SQL, Angular and experience in NestJs as a backend framework are helpful.
Familiarity with API architectural styles (e. g. REST and GraphQL), communication protocols and its encoding.
Experiences with Docker and Kubernetes and concepts like continuous integration and continuous delivery as part of modern DevOps processes.
Disciplined and independent personal management skills with regards to deadlines and successful prioritization of tasks.
Good verbal and written English skills are necessary for this position in order to ensure a seamless communication within your team and with colleagues throughout the company.
