Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) BMC
Location: Freemont / USA as Expatriate
Your Challenge
You will work as Expat for our German Legal Entity in our Delta side in Freemont / USA
Development of software for innovative embedded systems based on embedded Linux
Projects include power supplies, power shelves and battery shelves for High Performance Computing (HPC)
Collaboration in interdisciplinary, international teams (hardware, software, mechanical design, testing, etc.)
Programming mainly in C, C++, Python
Support for integration of customer requirements
Your Profile
Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or similar
Experience with modern ARM controllers
Knowledge of the Yocto build system, OpenBMC
Good knowledge of RESTful APIs (experience with DMTF Redfish and IPMI desirable)
Knowledge of web interface / GUI development desirable
Knowledge in communication protocols (D-Bus, SMBus / PMbus, Modbus, CAN-Bus…) desirable
Very good written and spoken English skills
Independent working style, commitment, creativity and team spirit
