We are currently looking for a
Senior Network Architect (f/m/d)
to join our Network Design Team based in Frankfurt am Main , Germany.
Lead network architecture roadmap on design and technologies, covering our MPLS-based multi-service platform as well as the optical underlay
Guide the evolution of DE-CIX IXP eco-system and the services it provides
Constantly review network advancements, emerging trends in network architecture and drive optimal expansion strategies
Drive cross-layer and cross-functional network synergies and standardization
Deliver reference architectures and blueprints for standardized network deployments
Conduct structured acceptance testing of hardware and configurations in our lab proving ground

What’s important to us:
At least 10 years‘ experience of working in network engineering and architecture including interaction with vendors to plan for future applications
Specialist in defining and driving network quality, strategy, and roadmaps
In-depth knowledge in MPLS-based routing infrastructure – i.e., Nokia (TiMetra) Service Routers and experience in MPLS/EVPN-based service design
Must have a deep understanding in automating and optical networks
Able to document and maintain standards in English and German
