CureVac SE is a global biopharmaceutical company researching and developing novel drugs based on the natural molecule Messenger RNA (mRNA). Our focus is on prophylactic vaccines, innovative cancer immunotherapies and protein-based therapies. Currently, all RNA people are striving to achieve our main goal: To bring multiple best-in-class mRNA drugs to market.
To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, limited to 2 years, we are currently looking to recruit a
Senior Engineer (f/m/d) RNA Optimization
Your responsibilities:
Independent development and optimization of bioanalytical assays with strong hands-on work in the lab
Support transfer and optimization of production and analytical steps to routine production
Carry out validation and process characterization studies of RNA and formulated RNA products
Planning, execution, interpretation and documentation of experiments
Preparation of SOPs, reports and presentations
Participation in multidisciplinary project teams
Your qualifications:
Master´s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering or related field
Ideally, several years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
Experience in establishing and troubleshooting biochemical and chromatographic methods (e.g., HPLC, UV/Vis spectroscopy, DLS and electrophoretic methods)
Knowledge in statistical data analysis and experimental design (DoE) is of advantage
Hands-on experience in developing scalable, efficient biopharmaceutical processes is desired
Ability to independently devise research projects but also to work in an interdisciplinary team
Fluency in English; German is a plus
