Our client is a successful German manufacturer of sealing technology and part of a globally operating group of companies in the field of systems and services for process industries with more than 1,500 employees globally. The products of our client have a high reputation worldwide in different industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, and food&beverage. For the further expansion of the business in China, we are looking for you in the Greater Shanghai/ Nanjing Area as Sales Director Sealing Technology (m/f/d) – China –
Tasks:
Full responsibility for sales, marketing, and distribution in the region
Maintaining and deepening contact with key customers (local + international companies) in markets such as pharma, chemical, and food&beverage
Take a hands-on leadership role in acquisition of new customers and further development of the business
Observing the market and analysing customer-, product- and competition-related information
Designing and implementing of regional sales and marketing concepts
Preparation of sales planning, budget, and key sales figures
Perspective: Creating, building, and leading of a local team (sales + service + assembly)
Direct reporting to the Division General Manager in the German HQ
Requirements:
Engineering Degree or equivalent technical training
Long term experience in sales or business development with documented success in an industrial company
Good knowledge in the field of industrial sealings or other demanding technical products for process industry applications
Profound technical knowhow
First Leadership experience or ability
Customer-orientation and hands-on-attitude
Entrepreneurial, result-driven personality with conceptual and strategic strength
Very good skills in Chinese and English
Trustful personality living in the Greater Shanghai/ Nanjing Area
