Project Lead (m/w/d) Toqlukuti’k 5 GW large scale Wind & Hydrogen project (Canada)
In our dynamic, diverse, and highly motivated team, we work on the next step of the energy transition and do our part to make the hydrogen economy a reality. In our international markets we develop hydrogen projects from pilots to multi-gigawatt export scale. Our efforts show success: we have recently been awarded the exclusive right to develop a 5 GW wind & hydrogen project in Newfoundland (Canada). We need you and your project management skills, good ideas, open spirit, and dedication for this exciting new business opportunity.
Your passion
You are responsible to manage the development, engineering and permitting of a 5 GW Wind & Hydrogen project – on schedule, on budget and with a high quality
You are accountable for the planning, scheduling and integration of the project activities with the project team and other internal departments
You integrate the large-scale wind, electrical (partially off-grid), hydrogen and logistics side of the project with commercial, offtake and other stakeholder aspects as well as with third-party engineering companies and consultants
You structure tasks and responsibilities and steer the subgroups, and component leads
You Co-lead with a local counterpart in Canada
You have extensive face time with ABO Wind’s board as well as with international investors and off-takers
You are willing to travel regularly to Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada
Your qualification
You have a strong track record in bringing complex infrastructure, H2, renewable energies or other engineering projects to a success
You have proven experience and achieved outstanding results in energy infrastructure projects and/or in a similar industry
You graduated with a degree in engineering, business administration or similar
You have strong leadership skills; you excel in leading cross-functional teams with different cultural backgrounds over various time zones
You speak English fluently and ideally German
You have strong communication and problem solving capabilities
You work independently, in a structured way and with an entrepreneurial mindset
You are a team player
