Main Responsibilities:

Provide insightful commentary and recommendations based on financial performance, identifying key drivers of variances and trends to inform future planning and resource allocation.
Develop and maintain key financial metrics and KPIs, tracking performance against targets and providing regular updates to management.
Work closely with other departments in order to ensure timely completion of the month-end closing process.
Lead the annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads and senior leadership to develop accurate and achievable financial targets.
Prepare comprehensive financial models and analyses to support strategic decision-making, including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and variance analysis.
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights, ensuring alignment between financial plans and operational objectives.
Drive process improvements and efficiency gains within the FP&A function, leveraging technology and best practices to streamline reporting and analysis.
Support the preparation of financial presentations and reports for executive leadership, board meetings, and external stakeholders.

Your Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
Excellent proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial reporting.
Deep German GAAP and IFRS knowledge including consolidation.
Expert MS skills in particular in Excel, Power Query and PowerPoint. Experience with MS Business Central and Power BI is a major plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, analyse data, and develop actionable insights.
Extremely hands-on, driven and self-starter. Needs to be able to work in a fast-changing environment and deliver on tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Fluent in English and German.
