Join our seasoned R&D team as a Full Stack Developer (f/m/d), where you’ll work on mature legacy products, embracing the old-school charm of software development. We’re seeking someone with the ability to tackle any platform and problem head-on, diving into the depths of code to fix bugs and make things work. If you thrive in an environment with minimal help and documentation, and you’re passionate about revitalizing legacy systems, this is the role for you.

Main Responsibilities:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical support for our extensive catalogue of products and diverse customer base.
Take ownership of legacy codebases, applying your skills to enhance functionality, address bugs, and optimize performance.
Develop and maintain robust backend applications, leveraging your expertise across multiple versions and frameworks
Craft responsive and interactive user interfaces using key technologies, adhering to industry best practices and standards. Revitalize and modernize user experiences while maintaining compatibility with existing systems.
Leverage your experience in data management, development, optimization and troubleshooting of complex PL/SQL procedures, functions and triggers.
Implement database performance tuning strategies to ensure optimal response times and efficient resource utilization.
Collaborate with the team to design and implement database schema changes and enhancements.
Work with SOAP and REST web services and APIs, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

Your Qualifications:

Over 5 years of proven experience in Fullstack Development, specializing in the enhancement of legacy systems.
Proficient in Java across various versions and frameworks as well as proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and frontend technologies.
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) & PL/SQL for data management and optimization.
Demonstrated ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve complex challenges in the software. An inclination to delve into details. A creative thinker, skilled in unleashing innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, essential for working in cross-functional teams.
SCRUM methodology experience is a significant advantage.
A proficient level of English is required; working knowledge of German is a significant advantage.
