Then join us now as an Intern – Quantitative Analyst (f/m/d) in our Munich office within the Quantitative Research and Modelling team of our risklab department. At risklab we are the experts for investment and risk solutions with over 60 investment professionals worldwide developing advisory services and solutions that are tailored to the individual investment goals of our clients.
This is a great moment to join us, as we are currently seeking to expand our energetic and engaged team with a highly motivated intern with a willingness to explore new challenges in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting us on various research topics with a focus on financial data analysis and modelling, as well as processing and testing cutting edge academic research for their potential. In addition, you will be working with our proprietary mathematical and econometric models which power our business of providing clients with quantitative financial advice.
What you will do
Support research projects within the Quantitative Research and Modelling team
Structure, explore, extract information and features from financial data
Support in documenting existing models as well as new model developments
Perform analyses of industry best practices in financial modelling
Build prototypes and test research ideas in Python

What you bring
Master level student in Economics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Mathematics, or any other quantitative discipline
Strong level of statistics, econometrics, time series analysis. Knowledge of stochastic calculus is seen as a big plus
Good level of Python programming, experience with other OOP languages is a plus
Good understanding of financial markets and economics
First experience in the financial industry is a plus
Fluent in English
