Main activities and responsibilities
Lead and support critical, complex risk management and loss prevention in the company.
Support in the introduction and implementation of an integrated occupational health and safety management according to ISO 45.001, with a special focus on chemical and plant safety integrated process.
Support the development of standards, documents and strategies to ensure that process and operational safety risks are successfully managed and meet established regulatory safety compliance guidelines.
Support technical and chemical process safety trainings at our sites.
Maintain continuous audit readiness, conduct internal audits, and assist in the processing of nonconformances to maintain the state of the art.
Create a higher awareness of the safety culture in chemical safety throughout the organization.
Responsible for implementation of the relevant and necessary behavior-based safety elements, documents and process.
Your Profile
Bachelor / Master in a technical / scientific field, a technician or comparable qualification, and further education in chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable training.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the chemical industry.
Senior Expert / Specialist with depth knowledge of U.S. OSHA, EU requirements and ISO 45.001 occupational safety management.
Knowledge and background in technical process safety application is beneficial, such as past experience with auditing, process hazard analysis, safety design review, dispersion modeling, and/or incident investigation.
Experience with chemistry industry authorities as well as relevant regulations and standards of process safety, risk factors, hazardous substances, plant- and construction safety.
Strong personality to support the safety culture and improvement actions.
Excellent knowledge of technical process safety and occupational safety.
Drive to push safety culture, willingness to drive change.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
