You are looking to join a team of specialists focused on service/support and installations in Europe and Asia Pacific.
YOUR TASK
In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will perform a variety of tasks including installations, troubleshooting and repair, application support, user demonstrations and training.
Working closely with our customers, you will develop a sense of their needs and goals and work closely with our sales team to capitalize on sales opportunities.
Your work locations will be on-site at our customers, remotely or from the headquarters in Taunusstein / Germany.

YOUR PROFILE
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree or a doctorate in physics, physical chemistry, or engineering
You have previous experience working on surface science UHV systems
Ideally, you have experience and knowledge in experimental surface analysis (e.g. ARPES, ESCA, HAXPES, MBE, STM/AFM)
You like to work with your hands and have excelent mechanical skills
Good command of English and preferably also German (not a must)
You are service-oriented and have a practical problem-solving approach
You are business oriented: you provide excellent support and understand the link between profit and customer safisfaction
You enjoy traveling and are available for installations and visits throughout Europe and Asia Pacific
