For our Cologne site we are looking for a

Energy Product & Market Manager (m/f/d)

INEOS in Cologne employs 2,500 people and is INEOS‘ biggest production site.

Your responsibilities

Energy Procurement (natural gas and electricity) for manufacturing sites in Germany, Norway and Belgium including tender processes, contract management, risk management, monitoring of regulatory and political developments, development of energy networks
Management of renewable Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and GoOs (Guarantees of Origin) and development of new PPA contract opportunities
Deliver market intelligence on key EU energy and carbon (CO2) markets for the INEOS Business Unit Olefins & Polymers Europe
CO2 Management: Coordination of procurement strategy for CO2 certificates
Lead / support strategic energy-related projects
Participation in INEOS-internal and external energy networks and associations

Your qualifications

Master degree level education in economics, business or technical science ideally with focus on energy
Multi-year experience in commercial functions, particularly trading, product management, sales & marketing, procurement, controlling with focus on energy
Experience in and thorough understanding of European energy markets
High-level of self-motivation, enthusiasm to innovate and push commercial boundaries, results-orientated
Fluent in German and English
