Technology Specialist (m/f/d) Power Conversion
We are a dynamic and successful group within ABO Wind AG, which is committed to the optimal integration of renewable energies through storage systems. We are looking for a Technology Specialist with a focus on power conversion who is going to support our Technology Team in the current and future activities revolving around our hybrid and BESS systems.
Your passion
love engineering and are constantly looking to update and improve your skills
like to work in a team and effectively collaborate with colleagues of different backgrounds
translate complex engineering topics into a clear and structured approach
develop and assist on the understanding of the operation of inverters, their interaction with the electrical grid and their control mechanisms
assist with the specification and classification of inverters for procurement
support the technical departments in technical matters during the project phases
support the O&M during project hand over
Your qualification
academic degree in preferably an engineering discipline, such as electrical, power electronics, control and automation. Background in other disciplines such as physics and math acceptable if previous knowledge of inverters exists.
strong background in BESS inverters technology, both in theory and practice.
construction or Field experience such as maintenance is a plus
understanding of Energy Storage Technologies, with a focus on Lithium-ion
self-starter, able to work independently with minimal guidance.
Business fluent in English, German is a plus
