Within the HMS Networks Group, HMS Industrial Networks GmbH in Karlsruhe is responsible for sales, marketing and technical service for all HMS brands in continental Europe. With more than 2,500 active customers and 40 distributors, the company handles over 40% of the group’s worldwide sales. The office in Karlsruhe and the subsidiaries in France, Italy and Spain are currently employing around 100 people.

Technical Support Specialist (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

You are the „light at the end of the tunnel“ for our customers. You clarify – using our modern ticket system via telephone, TeamViewer and teams – all questions of our customers regarding the commissioning and configuration of our IoT solutions as well as our communication products.
Calmly and competently, you provide assistance in analyzing errors in the event of malfunctions, interpret and evaluate error messages and moderate solution approaches.
Together with your colleagues from all over Europe, you optimize our self-help tools and actively contribute to the continuous development of a knowledge database.
With the customer in focus, you will always work on improving our products and processes.
When our customer ends the phone call with a smile on his face, your commitment and your clear and goal-oriented way of conducting the conversation have paid off once again.

Your Qualifications

You can prove your knowledge in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics and/or automation technology either through a corresponding degree or through professional experience appropriate to the job description.
You already have initial experience with solutions in the area of remote access, as well as with the connection of OT to IT solutions.
First contact with Industrial Ethernet based communication systems is helpful, but not a must.
Our international environment makes it indispensable that you can communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing. Furthermore, knowledge of German is an advantage.
