UnternehmerTUM GmbH is looking for a
Program Manager – Partner and Community (m/f/x)
Location: Garching & München
Type: full-time or part-time (min. 32h/week)
Your mission The Manage and More program for outstanding entrepreneurial talents is the most intensive and selective program for students we offer: Every semester, 20 students with extraordinary commitment are selected to train as intra- and entrepreneurs for three semesters. In an interdisciplinary community they learn how to develop business ideas, design innovation and discover their own leadership style.
Making Manage and More the perfect place to grow together requires a strong program management team. We are looking for a person who is excited to take ownership for topics such as:
We work with exciting corporate partners (including e.g. McKinsey & Company, BMW Group) who we connect with our unique talent pool. You will be responsible for developing and implementing inspiring events that help create long-lasting relationships.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our international cooperation partners (e.g. in Israel and the US) and build new, strong connections to create exchange opportunities for the Manage and More fellows.
Project Supervision and Facilitation
Each semester, the Manage and More fellows drive the program with their «internal projects» (on topics such as program marketing, networking events, etc.). You support and accompany these projects as a sparring partner and process facilitator.
You can also imagine yourself supporting the students‘ innovation projects with your personal superpower – e.g. by teaching interview techniques, facilitating team retros or your special knowledge of innovation methods.
You will participate in the semi-annual selection process for the next Manage and More batch and be a central point of contact for active Manage and More fellows, assisting them with any questions they may have regarding the program (e.g. their projects, program structure and orga, networking within UTUM and beyond, etc.).
Our alumni network is an important resource for the support we and the Manage and More fellows can count on. You actively handle relationship management with the alumni and the official Manage and More Alumni Club.
(First) experience in working in agile team settings, collaborating with different stakeholders, and program/community management
Experience in facilitating innovation projects and knowledge of methods and frameworks such as Design Thinking and Business Design is a plus
You love being part of a team of impact-driven individuals who challenge the status quo, support each other, and achieve great things together
Thinking in an agile and customer-centric way as well as approaching your tasks in a careful and structured manner is not a contradiction for you.
You can build on great communication skills (proficient in both, English and German) and your ability to form strong relationships with (future) participants, partners, and customers
Applicants with all kinds of study/professional backgrounds (also unconventional ones) are welcome to apply
What we offer
Become part of a motivated and impact-driven team and work in an agile work environment
Within the team, we place great emphasis on the development and advancement of each member
Work with a great variety of partners and take responsibility for a broad range of tasks and topics
You enjoy a great deal of creative freedom to achieve the goals we defined together
You are responsible for your own work schedule as well as flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home (also after corona)
Further education through internal and external trainings
