About the position
HR administration –
Take ownership of the operational HR support for the employee life cycle from the contract conclusion phase to the end of an employment
Support and consult the management team as well as the employees in their daily HR matters
Help to (further) develop our HR service level
HR processes –
Help to (re-)design our operational HR processes in close cooperation with HR resources in the different locations and in the PSI headquarter in order to centralize and digitalize fragmented processes and to raise process efficiency
Recruitment support –
Coordination of the publication of job vacancies internally and externally
Follow up on the progress of recruitment activities within our application management system
Assistance in activities for the attraction of young professionals from universities
Handling of immigration matters (visa application support, contact to authorities etc.) for new employees who need to apply for work/residence permits
Job Requirements
Commercial education preferably with additional HR related qualifications, or a Bachelor’s degree with focus on Human Resources, psychology or related fields
Several years of practice in HR departments with experience in the daily HR operations & support; experience in recruitment would be beneficial
Very good verbal and written communication skills
Very good interpersonal skills and an authentic service attitude
Ability to work as part of a global team within matrix structures
Personal integrity, confidentiality and a professional work attitude
Thorough knowledge of current German employment-related laws and regulations
Readiness to occasionally travel between PSI Metals locations
Fluency in English
