Head of SW R&D Infrastructure (m/w/d)
Your Responsibilities
Provide R&D with the infrastructure and solutions needed to run all services which are required for the Linux based development and build environment
Make sure that a high uptime is maintained to ensure R&D productivity and the desired service quality
Continuously improve and keep the environment fresh by doing regular updates and maintenance
Manage external partners, contracts, and budget
Take over leadership, manage the team and be the disciplinary supervisor
Provide orientation (Vision, Strategy and Goals) and guide the teams to live our company values (Advantest Integrity)
Lead, coach, train, and mentor individuals in the development team
Help the team to continuously raise their maturity level
Your Qualifications
University master’s degree in computer science/engineering, software engineering or comparable qualification
Multiple years of experience in a technical lead role
Experience in agile methods (Scrum)
Capability to coach and train people
Knowledge in Linux, Ansible, Python, AWS, VMware
Profound knowledge of k8s and containers
Continuous integration (CodeBuild, Jenkins)
Source code management using git
Excellent communication skills
Experience in leading agile scrum teams
Team player and x-functional networker
Self-awareness and emotional intelligence
Result orientation & focus
Can-do attitude, self-driven and self-motivated
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
